Ms. Kwon is a litigation associate at Brian P. Kamel & Associates.
Ms. Kwon received her Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School, where she served as an editor on the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review journal. She also represented and advised local veterans in the Estate Planning Project, a department of the Veterans Law and Disability Benefits Clinic at the Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School. As a student advocate, Ms. Kwon advised indigent clients in estate planning matters and drafted wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and other documents.
Prior to law school, Ms. Kwon managed a music retail and education company for several years. She also briefly worked in business development at an asset management company and a film and television content licensing company. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Literature and Culture from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ms. Kwon’s practice comprises the defense of dental and medical healthcare practitioners in civil litigation and in licensure actions brought by the Attorney General. She also represents corporate employers of medical and dental groups and clinics in civil cases involving labor and employment law.
Prior to joining Brian P. Kamel & Associates, Ms. Kwon was an associate at a Vault Top 10 law firm in Los Angeles, where she gained experience in various areas of law. Her experience at that firm, with her strong persuasive skills, serves as a benefit in the defense of doctors.
